Trifolium pratense 2n
Offers high yields of quality protein pasturage for direct feeding and as fodder. Drying it for hay is more difficult. It is not demanding on the site, and is grown in potato-growing, foothills, and highland regions where it is left for a maximum of two productive years. The root composition provides quality organic matter upon liquidation of the foliage. Excellent preceding crop for all cereal grains and other crops.
